Do You Feel Your Employer's Health Benefits Are Amazing?

The cost of employer-provided health insurance is approaching $19,000 a year for a family plan. Workers pay an average of $5,714 towards the cost of their coverage.

The annual survey by Kaiser Family Foundation/Health Research & Education Trust surveyed employers to get a "...detailed look at trends in employer-sponsored health coverage including premiums, employee contributions, cost-sharing provisions, and employer practices." The cost is generally divided between the employer and workers, but varies among companies.

The trend showed that annual premiums are up about 3% from last year. It also found that companies that offer benefits has decreased in 2017. You can access the full report here.
